Emphasizing education, Steamer No. 10 is a non-profit theatre producing & presenting live performances, programs, play readings & films for all ages; aimed to spark excitement around theatre arts & empower the next generation of artists and humans We produce five shows each year (our Kids' Fare Series), with an emphasis on fairy tales, children’s literature and local history. During the December,
February, and April school breaks we present a variety of quality family entertainment as part of our Vacation Daze Series. We also have a strong educational component, our C.A.S.T. program, which provides opportunities for children to take classes in the performing arts as well as participate in stage productions. Finally, our Eclectic Performance Series provides entertainment for adults through Theater Voices our Eclectic Music Series. We want to get children, adults, teachers, grandparents...everyone...excited about theatre and the performing arts. Everyone should attend live performances with a burning desire to see more.
