On September 12th, 2026, BAC Local 2 NY/VT held the "Hiking for the Right Path" event where we hiked up Hurricane Mountain, to raise awareness for mental health struggles and substance abuse within our field. It was an incredible event that left us feeling a sense of achievement and pride, for ourselves and each other.

Thrilled to earn the support of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 2 NY/VT. As someone raised in an extended family of union members, I know first-hand the value of union solidarity, and I'm committed to standing with organized labor for the quality of life that New York's working families deserve.

Construction workers face disproportionately high su***de rates. Prevention is a critical safety issue. For Construction Su***de Prevention Week, BAC MAP reminds our brothers & sisters: you matter, and you are not alone: https://bacbenefits.org/map/map-now

Su***de is a leading cause of death in the United States and Canada, and workers in the construction industry are impacted at higher-than-average rates.

This ***dePreventionMonth, we have a message for our BAC brothers and sisters in need: you matter, your wellbeing matters, you are not alone, and help is available: https://bacbenefits.org/map/map-now

Thank you to the 2026 NYS Teacher Ambassador Program for attending our information session. During this session, we were able to go over the great career opportunities the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers has to offer. Efforts like these help the teachers coach and educate their students about post-grad opportunities. Special shoutout to the NYSDOL for their continued support and attendance.
