United is the Way to Build Career Pathways! Congratulations are in order for all 30 graduates who completed the Offshore Wind Career Pathway Program! Many graduates have already secured employment. Graduates are moving into skilled-trade careers in welding, electrical, and construction.

For those graduates still searching for the right opportunity, they will work with job coaches and case managers to navigate their job search and take the next step toward a career in their field.

Statement from Peter Gannon, President & CEO, United Way of the Greater Capital Region, on the passing Andy Gnoinski:

"Andy Gnoinski was a true community champion, a longtime United Way supporter and a friend to so many. Throughout his distinguished career at GE and his leadership in organized labor, Andy understood the importance of standing up for working people and giving back to the community he called home.

For decades, Andy dedicated himself to service, helping make our community stronger and better for others. His impact extended far beyond his professional career, and his generosity and commitment to United Way reflected the kind of leader and neighbor he was.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his beloved wife, Sue, his daughters, grandchildren and the entire Gnoinski family. Andy leaves behind a remarkable legacy of service, leadership and compassion that will live on through the many lives he touched.”
