Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who guide, support, and inspire us every day. Their strength, wisdom, and love help shape the lives of those around them in meaningful ways.

We also take a moment to honor donor fathers whose legacy lives on through the gift of sight. Through eye donation, they have helped restore vision and bring hope to others, creating an impact that extends far beyond their own families.

Today, Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast proudly celebrates 74 years of service, compassion, and restoring vision through eye donation.

Since 1952, we have been honored to work alongside donor families, healthcare partners, volunteers, and supporters who make our mission possible. Most importantly, we recognize the selfless donors whose gifts have helped transform countless lives through sight-restoring transplants, research, and education.

For 74 years, every donation has carried a powerful legacy of hope—connecting generosity with healing and creating brighter futures for recipients throughout our communities and beyond.

As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on our history with gratitude and look ahead with renewed commitment to advancing our mission for generations to come.

This Pride Month, we're celebrating the beauty of diversity—in all its forms.

No two eyes are exactly alike. From deep brown and bright blue to hazel, green, gray, and every unique variation between, eye color exists on a spectrum of incredible shades. There is no one "right" color, just as there is no one way to love, live, or be yourself.

At Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast, we are honored to serve and support people from all backgrounds, identities, and communities. Just as every donated gift of sight is unique, every person brings something valuable to the world.

This June, we celebrate the many colors, perspectives, and experiences that make our communities stronger. Happy Pride Month! 🌈👁️

This warm weather is getting us even more excited for July! ☀️😍

Join us on Monday, July 20 at Colonie Golf and Country Club for a day of golf, community, and impact at the Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast Annual "Eye Drive" Golf Tournament. ⛳🏌️‍♀️

Player registration is $140 and includes lunch, dinner, cocktail hour, and a golf cart for the duration of the tournament. The day begins with a 10:00 a.m. start, a grilled luncheon, a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., and an evening cocktail hour and dinner buffet.
