I'm proud of our herding trainer, Donald Mckay , and Zac. Zac had the distraction of livestock being around during this video but he still listened to the command to bring the leash. This was something they had just started to try to see how he'd do. I think they have a great start! Don does a great job and he never gives himself enough credit so I'm giving him some now! Liz West started Zac out when he was a pup and she does a great job of introducing them to all kinds of situations on the farm. Don and Liz are both an important part of the program.

Zac was donated by Virgil Miles from Kansas. He has some great dogs and we thank him once again for his kindness in donating Zac. Way back in 2009 we were trying to figure out how all this might work for a farmer and we did a placement with a farmer in NW Missouri. Virgil came through for us once again and donated a dog named, Roy, to the program. He wasn't concerned about money he just wanted to help out another farmer/rancher and believed in what we were trying to do then and what we are continuing to do now. He's a good guy and we thank him!

Thank you for following our page and the support you all give. It seems like there is so much negativity in the world but there are still so many good people out there that just want to help others. Take care all!

PHARM Dog USA is blessed and very grateful to the Larry L. Womack Estate. Larry's cousin, Rod, happened to read an article about Skippy, the dog we placed in Georgia. Skippy won the American Farm Bureau Federation's National Farm Dog of the Year Award in 2024 and she had many articles written about her. Rod was impressed with how Skippy was helping her farmer and contacted me and wanted to visit. Rod believed in the program and the purpose behind it and decided to donate to us from the estate. Larry was a dog lover and a proud military veteran. The building will be named, Larry L. Womack Memorial Training Facility. Home of PHARM Dog USA.

This 70x120x16 building that sits behind Johnson Control in Albany, MO will not only be used for training our PHARM Dogs but for other purposes as well in the future. Things like obedience classes and herding clinics for example. It's something I never thought would happen but thanks to a man I never had the honor of meeting we now have a training facility.

Things will not be in operation for a while as this is a shell of a building for now. We have some more work to do such as painting doors, adding an entry way around the front door, adding electricity, etc...As more funding becomes available we will finish the interior and add on kennel space for public boarding and for our program dogs. This building will act as an indoor training facility.

The kindness of others will allow us to continue helping more farmers doing what they love to do with the assistance of what we call a 4- legged farm hand.

We hope to have our next fundraiser in this building in September so that you all can hear what our future plans and goals are for the facility. Please mark your calendars for Saturday evening, September 12th and join us for some music, a meal, and auction.

We thank you all for your continued support! Our next dog placement is planned for July in the state of Alabama.

Thanks to WCC Construction and Hogue Lumber for building a great looking place to work with and train our program dogs plus other great things in the future!
