JPA Editor Applications Due August 23!

The Society for Personality Assessment is seeking applications for the next Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment (JPA).

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of SPA’s flagship journal and contribute to the continued advancement of personality assessment research, theory, and practice.

The new Editor’s five-year renewable term begins January 1, 2027, following a transition period beginning in October.

Applications are due August 23 and should include:
• A current CV
• A statement of 500 words or fewer outlining your vision for the future of JPA

We’re accepting both half-day and full-day workshops, giving you more flexibility to create a meaningful, engaging learning experience around your topic.

The Samuel J. and Anne G. Beck Early Career Award recognizes an early career scholar whose research demonstrates outstanding innovation, promise, and contributions to personality assessment and psychological test development.

The award honors scholars who are no more than 10 years beyond their graduate degree and whose work is helping move the field forward.
