Post Commander Elmo Kearsing announced that the next Post event will be our Past Commanders Dinner on Saturday, October 18th. Tickets are only $15.00 and that includes roast beef dinner, draft beer, wine and soda, Entertainment til midnight!

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting this important veterans hiring fair in Albany, NY. Hiring our Heroes Albany is being conducted in partnership with the U. S. Department of Labor, Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), New York State Department of Labor, and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). More than 40 employers are expected to participate.

Post and County Baseball Chairman Eric Tolmie installed a new scoreboard at Legion Field. Now all we have to do is get the city and National Grid to supply with electricity!

The Zaloga Post installed solar panels on our roof and we're makin' power and goin' green! Hopefully that means savin' money AND helping the environment.
