Meet Jaime, Center Director of our Schenectady location!

Jaime has now been with Alpha for one year and about four months. In that time, she's come to love being part of the Alpha family because she knows she'll forever be part of a long line of women and men who truly care about the needs of people, and show it every single day.

When she's not at the center, you can usually find her out on the Empire State Trail, hanging out with her nephew, or working on a craft project.

Grateful for the team that shows up for women and families every day. 🙏

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

Behind so many stories of hope are also stories of grief. Families in our own community have walked through the loss of a baby, sometimes quietly, sometimes without anyone even knowing.

This month, we want to pause and remember them. We want to hold space for the grief alongside the hope. Because every life has value, including the smallest and shortest ones.

If you've experienced this kind of loss, please know our team is here, and so is this community. You are not alone, and neither is your baby's memory.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to help with the car wash at the our Schenectedy Center!

We want to thank Kristin, Michelle, Adonis, and Roman, and Laura for giving their time and energy to pull this off! We had a blast.

We say it often, but we could NOT do what we do without all the volunteers that make it possible!

Time for a second trimester report!

Because of you, we were able to:
→ Serve 352 different clients in our boutiques
→ Provide 61 pregnancy tests and 107 pregnancy/parenting intake appointments and consultations
→ Offer 102 classes this trimester (51 parenting, 26 childbirth prep and pregnancy, 25 support and Bible study)
→ Welcome 681 individuals into those classes (360 parenting, 259 childbirth/pregnancy prep, 39 support group, 23 Bible study)
→ See 18 babies born, 13 of which were at risk for an abortion

We have the privilege of interacting with the real people behind these numbers, and it is a true joy.
