Say hello to our newest team member, Audrey Simon!

Audrey recently joined Alpha as our Director of Fundraiser and Donor Relations, and we're so excited to have her on the team!

When asked what she loves most about working at Alpha, Audrey shared:
"The people here are very kind, and I love how we are all working toward the same goal."

Outside of work, you'll likely find Audrey thrifting, antiquing, or spending time with her new puppy.

Meet our Volunteer of the Month, Linda Stewart!

Linda serves as a teacher, boutique helper, and board member. She first got connected to Alpha through friends who were already volunteering, and we're so thankful she said yes.

One of Linda's favorite parts of serving is watching women grow in confidence as they experience the love of Christ and the support of Alpha.

"I love leading classes and seeing these women learn, become confident, and watch the joy in their family relationships grow. They come to Alpha scared and unsure, but with Christ and Alpha, they blossom into the role God designed for them."

When asked what she'd say to someone considering volunteering, Linda shared:

"No other nonprofit or church in the area does what Alpha does. It is truly a treasure. If you're looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity, come take a tour, meet the staff, and see where the Lord leads."

This summer has been full of exciting moments across our centers, and we're so grateful for all that God is doing. Here's a quick update from each location:

📍 Albany
→ We've celebrated 4 babies born so far this summer, with 6 more little ones on the way!
→ Jenny recently attended a conference in Western New York to deepen her knowledge and learn new ways to better support clients from all backgrounds.

📍 Cohoes
→ We welcomed a new baby in June, and another sweet little one was scheduled to arrive this week. We love celebrating these growing families!

📍 Schenectady
→ Our team continues to gather for weekly prayer, lifting up our clients, volunteers, and community as we seek to serve each family with compassion and hope.
→ Our Boutique is just about complete! Floors, curtains, rugs, all replaced! Working on final decor touches.

📍 Bennington
→ We have 7 babies due this summer, and we can't wait to meet them!
→ Our team participated in Sunrise's Summer Jam, where we shared information about Alpha Care and made 48 colorful pinwheels with local children.
→ Our boutique is stocked and ready for summer, giving parents the opportunity to shop for the essentials they've earned through our programs.
→ We also had a wonderful opportunity to meet with a college student who selected Alpha Care as the focus of an academic project. We're always grateful for opportunities to share our mission with the next generation.
