15-LOVE Our mission “To reach out in a loving, caring way to the youth of the Capital Region, using tennis as the medium, especially those in the inner cities.”

The program provides free tennis lessons and life skills to youth ages 4-18. With every free tennis lesson, a mandatory off-court, peer group session is held where trained instructors lead discussions and activities concerning topics such as: drugs, higher education, the importance of family and multiculturalism, accepting differences and change, peer pressure and gangs, anger management, money ma

nagement, internet safety, and healthy living. Throughout the years, additional (and free) programs have been implemented. Some of these programs include: the Book Power Club (a volunteer based, one-on-one reading program for third graders at 2 local inner-city elementary schools), the College Preparation Program and the Leadership Program (both for high school students). Finally, 15-LOVE has also developed an Excellence Program—a tournament team which focuses on tennis and healthy living in order to help students achieve a goal of going to college and having the opportunity to play tennis there.

⛳🎾 Just 3 Days Away!

The countdown is on for 15-LOVE's 34th Annual Fore Love & Money Fundraiser, and we can't wait to welcome our supporters, sponsors, volunteers and participants for a day of fun, connection and impact.

This signature event helps fund programs that empower Capital Region youth through tennis, literacy, STEM, healthy living and college prep opportunities. Every golfer, tennis player, donor and sponsor helps make a difference in the lives of the young people we serve.

A special thank you to our sponsors for their generosity and commitment to our mission. Your support helps create opportunities for local youth and keeps our work moving forward.

Special thanks to Gladys and Jasmine for stopping by tonight to deliver the new books, and providing our participants with pizza while they took part in a hands on interactive activity to learn about tax.

Our Spring Book Giveaway was a wonderful celebration of literacy, community, and fun!

More than 80 students, along with their parents and guardians, joined us for an afternoon filled with books, crafts, clothing, toys, and connection. Participants also received two brand-new books courtesy of KPMG — thank you for helping us put more books into the hands of young readers.

A special thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to support this amazing event. Your time and energy helped make the day such a success for our families and participants.

Events like this continue to remind us how powerful community support can be in creating opportunities for youth and encouraging a love of reading.

Even if today feels more like winter than spring, we know what’s coming 🌱

Looking back at last summer’s garden has us excited to get our hands back in the soil soon. Planting season is almost here, and we’re ready for it.

On Earth Day, we’re reminded how much we rely on Mother Earth’s resources—our garden, our food, our learning, our connection. We’re grateful for all of it.

We’re also incredibly thankful for the community partners who help make this work possible year after year.
