Amelia Kidd drove in four runs on three hits to lead West Albany Varsity Bulldogs past Corvallis Varsity Spartans 12-2 on Wednesday. Kidd singled in the fifth scoring two, hit a sacrifice fly in the first scoring one, and hit a sacrifice fly in the second scoring one.

Corvallis Varsity Spartans got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kate Musson hit a sacrifice fly, and Sofia Markum singled to center field, each scoring one run.

West Albany Varsity Bulldogs tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a sacrifice fly by Kidd, and a single by Kodi Carapinha.

In the bottom of the second, West Albany Varsity Bulldogs broke up the tie when Kidd hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Then a sacrifice fly by Gabriella Young followed to extend the lead to 4-2.

Young earned the win for West Albany Varsity Bulldogs. The righty surrendered five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking three. Sienna Gee took the loss for Corvallis Varsity Spartans. The righty went three and one-third innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits, striking out none and walking four.

West Albany Varsity Bulldogs tallied 13 hits in the game. Macie Manning, Ruby Salazar, Ellison Smith, and Carapinha each collected multiple hits for West Albany Varsity Bulldogs. West Albany Varsity Bulldogs had patience at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Salazar and Young led the team with two bases on balls each. West Albany Varsity Bulldogs were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Carapinha had the most chances in the field with eight.

Musson and Markum were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Corvallis Varsity Spartans. Markum led Corvallis Varsity Spartans with two hits in three at bats. Leah Childress stole two bases.

West Albany Bulldogs trailed by as many as four, but came back to best Silverton Varsity Foxes on Wednesday, 10-4.

West Albany Bulldogs won thanks in part to six runs in the sixth inning. Tobin Holloway singled, scoring one run, Jackson Ordeman singled, scoring one run, Lucas Klein hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Kaden Martirano drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

Silverton Varsity Foxes got on the board in the first inning after Sawyer Enderle homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Silverton Varsity Foxes added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Enderle walked, and Nolan Horner singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

West Albany Bulldogs tied the game up in the bottom of the third thanks to two singles. West Albany Bulldogs tied the game at four on a single by Martirano.

Jaden Fifhause led things off on the mound for West Albany Bulldogs. The starter gave up six hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking three. Ryne Hockman began the game for Silverton Varsity Foxes. The starter gave up 10 hits and eight runs (seven earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out two and walking two.

West Albany Bulldogs amassed 12 hits in the game. Blake Linton, Kane Damon, Holloway, and Rylan Mathiesen each collected two hits for West Albany Bulldogs. Martirano, Holloway, and Ordeman each drove in two runs for West Albany Bulldogs.

Enderle provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Silverton Varsity Foxes with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Horner led Silverton Varsity Foxes with two hits in four at bats. Silverton Varsity Foxes turned one double play in the game.
