The Ban on PFAS in Consumer Products is a bill that will ban PFAS "forever chemicals" in products we use everyday like: non-stick cookware, dental floss, cleaning supplies, ski wax, and more.

Did you know that there are toxic chemicals in personal care products that we use everyday like shampoo, make-up, shaving cream, face wash and more! The Beauty Justice Act S.2057B (PASSED) / A.2054B bans those toxics, protecting us from health issues like asthma, reproductive issues, cancer, and more.

The Ban on PFAS in Consumer Products bill will remove toxic PFAS "forever chemicals" from everyday products like, cookware, dental floss, cleaning products, rugs, and more. New York State Assembly Majority must bring this this bill to a vote before the end of session to ensure New Yorkers are protected.

The clock is ticking. Today, JustGreen Partnership advocates rallied at the Capitol calling on the NYS Assembly to take action on two bills that will remove toxics from everyday products: Beauty Justice Act S.2057B (Webb) / A.2054B (Glick) and the Ban on PFAS in Consumer Products S.9073A (Harckham) / A.7738A (Glick).

The Senate already passed both bills with strong bipartisan support and now it’s time for the Assembly to do the same. Together, these bills are a major step toward protecting public health, workers, and our environment from harmful chemicals.

Have your voice heard now and send a letter to the assembly to let them know these bills must be passed before session ends in less than three weeks!

Earth Day Advocacy Day! One of our favorite days of the year. 🌎🌲

We spent the day at the Capitol speaking to legislators about important environmental bills that will:

🧴🍳remove toxic chemicals out of our personal care & everyday consumer products

💧protect our drinking water by removing lead pipes from our homes

☀️making clean energy more accessible, and

🗑️reducing the amount of waste in our landfills.
