At Ronald McDonald House Albany, we have 25 unique guest rooms, each with its own theme and personality. From different room sizes to thoughtful touches throughout the House, we do our best to create a comfortable, welcoming space for every family who stays with us.

Because when a child is in the hospital, Family Stays. And we stay with them.

That’s what makes the House That Love Built feel a little more like home. 🏡✨

We’re looking for caring volunteers to join us at the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at D7!

In this role, you’ll:
✨ Welcome and greet families
🥨 Keep snacks and refreshments stocked
🏡 Help extend the warmth and hospitality of the Ronald McDonald House to families while they’re at the hospital

Your time can make a meaningful difference for families during some of their most challenging days. 💛

⚾ Did you guess right?! Our latest themed Comfort Cart was a home run at the hospital! ❤️

We brought a little ballpark fun to kids receiving critical care by handing out baseball cards and some classic game-day favorites — from hot dogs to peanuts and Cracker Jacks! 🌭🥜🏟️
The patients we serve may not be heading to a big game this postseason, but the Comfort Cart can always be counted on to bring the fun straight to them! 💛

❤️ A big thank you to McDonald's NY for spending an afternoon volunteering their time, serving our families, and making a difference!

In addition to bringing their helping hands to every corner of the House, the team prepared a special meal of arroz con pollo with fried plantains in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!
