Project Safe Point Ambulatory Detox

Project Safe Point Ambulatory Detox Project Safe Point, a community based organization within the Catholic Charities Diocese of Albany, is located in Albany, New York.

We provide harm reduction services to people who use drugs and to those who are seeking treatment. Project Safe Point's Ambulatory Detox program is here to assist people in the Capital Region with any of the following:
-Providing supportive services to people seeking detox and/or outpatient services
-Offering transportation to and from treatment
-Collaborating with St. Peter's Health Partners to p

rovide wrap-around care
-Access to harm reduction supplies
-Referrals to Medication Assisted Treatment such as Buprenorphine or Methadone
-Overdose Prevention and Education (Naloxone)
-Care plan development
-Recovery Coaching
-HIV and Hepatitis-C screening and referral to treatment
-Linkage and navigation to additional services as needed (i.e., mental or behavioral health services, housing, primary care, etc.)
