Day 2 of our Coach and Team spotlight as we head into 2027 Evaluations. Today we have an exciting reveal! 🌀

Taking over as Head Coach of our 2033 travel team is Coach Fiona Tozer-Hayes. ⛹🏻‍♀️🔥 TeamTozerHayes

Coach Fiona was born and raised in Ontario, Canada where she played collegiately at Brock University from 2000-2004 averaging 10 points and 8 rebounds! 💪🏼
In 2004, Fiona gained UK citizenship and represented Great Britain in the 2005 World Student Games in Turkey followed by joining the English National team notching wins over Portugal, Sweden and Bulgaria. 🔥
Following her rise, Fiona went on to sign professionally with the Northumbria Women’s team which is now the Newcastle Eagles of the British Basketball League where she led the team to a National League Championship averaging 22 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks along the way! Fiona played professionally from 2005 to 2010 before suffering a career ending ankle injury.
After moving to America and settling in Massachusetts, Fiona has coached at the High School level for Wacona High School whom she assisted to back to back Western Massachusetts Championships and in 2023, the school’s first state finals appearance in 20 years followed by a run at Pittsfield High School culminating in a Massachusetts State Championship runner-up. 🔥

Coach Fiona puts a heavy emphasis on skill development and teaching the game properly through spacing and fundamentals. For a squad that has won 30+ games and several rings over their first 2 AAU seasons together we are extremely excited to see how far Coach Fiona can take this team!! 🏀

With 2027 evaluations 2 weeks away we want to spotlight all of our Teams and Coaching staffs 🌀🤩⭐️

Starting off with Coach Jasper and Coach Emily’s 2031 travel team! 🏀

Over the past 2 seasons, this squad is a combined 70-14! 🔥This includes a 10-2 record while playing in Select Events Live period showcases against the top programs in the Northeast. 💪🏼

This group has been lead by Coach Jasper Estaris for 4 years. Jasper is well known in the 518 hoop community as Coach and program director of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Girls Youth Basketball. Jasper played collegiately at HVCC and was a part of the 1999 NJCAA National Championship Tournament team after finishing 2nd team All-Foothills for Scotia High School. 🏀

Coach Emily Dobson is current Assistant Woman’s Basketball Coach at Skidmore College with previous experience assisting at Bowdoin, Castelton State, and Nichols College. Emily is former 2 time all-LEC player at Western Connecticut State. ⭐️ Emily is current owner of HalfCourt along with spearheading our college recruitment and training our athletes. 🎓

Rounding out the coaching staff and joining us this season is Skidmore College senior Captain Claudia Schneider. Claudia is 2-time CSC Academic All-District along with 2-time All-Liberty League for being 2nd leading team scorer with 10ppg, 6rpg, along with 40 assists, 43 steals while shooting 46% from the field and 42% from behind the arc!! 🔥🎯

Better late than never…. 🏀

We concluded our 2026 Europe tour with our first stop in Ireland! 🇮🇪
We had the amazing opportunity of taking on the Ongar Chasers Basketball Club🐎 of Dublin and what a game it was. 🔥

First and foremost… shoutout to 🗣️⛹🏻‍♀️🔥
30+ points and 20+ rebounds in a game is insane for anyone not named A'ja Wilson… Highlights included 📸

Back and forth all game… big shot after big shot…
We were lucky enough to pull away late for a single digit win. 🏅

Masey Raymond with 4 triples finishing with 18 🎯🎯🎯🎯
Elizabeth Blanch with a buzzer be**er and in takeover mode late finishing with 18 points as well 😤
Paige Vines locking the glass down leading the team with double digit rebounds! 🏀🔥

Alyssa does a little bit of everything, the only player to register 1 of every stat 🔥

Today, 25 years later, we pause to honor the lives lost, celebrate the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward, and remember the unity that brought us all together. 🇺🇸

As a family and as a program, we reflect on these lessons of strength, resilience, and compassion. May we always teach our young athletes to choose kindness and to support one another. We are all on the same team! 🩵🏀

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to Skidmore Women's Basketball 🏀 Coach Emily Dobson, Head Coach Dave Bostick and Senior-Captain Claudia Schneider on the absolute blast of time they put on to round out the summer for our youth! 🏀🌀

From basketball skill development to tie-dye shirts to Tik-Tok’s to a seemingly never-ending dodgeball game to some possibly unwarranted band-aids being handed out 😂.. a TIME was certainly had!! 🩵
