🎤 Featured Speaker: Angela M King
Angela M. King is a distinguished legal professional with over two decades of experience in the legal field. She launched her career as a litigation and government contracts paralegal and advanced steadily into senior leadership positions as a paralegal manager.
Ms. King is the Paralegal Manager at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where she leads a robust and diverse team of over 60 paralegals supporting a wide range of departments and practice groups. With a strong focus on strategic staffing, professional development, and operational efficiency, she oversees a firmwide paralegal program that enhances service delivery across litigation, transactional, and regulatory practices. Prior to joining Katten, Ms. King held Paralegal Manager roles at ArentFox Schiff LLP and Dentons US LLP, bringing extensive leadership experience to her current position.
Ms. King holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Bowie State University. She is an active member of several professional legal associations, including the International Practice Management Association (IPMA), the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA), National Capital Area Paralegal Association (NCAPA) and the Los Angeles Paralegal Association (LAPA).
Ms. King’s leadership experience spans multiple national and regional professional organizations. She currently serves as Co‑Chair of both the Communications Committee and the Atlantic Chapter for IPMA. She is also an active member of the George Washington University Paralegal Studies Program Advisory Board, where she contributes her experience and insight to the advancement of paralegal education. She served on the Board of Directors for the IPMA from 2022–2025 and previously held various Board of Director roles within NCAPA from 2013–2019, culminating in three consecutive terms as President. Her longstanding involvement with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) includes service as a Secondary Representative on behalf of NCAPA, Board/Council Member from 2019–2021 and as the Law Office Administration Coordinator from 2021–2022. Across these roles, Ms. King has consistently demonstrated a commitment to professional development, organizational leadership, and advocacy within the paralegal and legal management communities.
