We Agree Play some golf! We have finalized our plans for the 2026 Golf Outing and the forms are below. Whether you are planning on sponsoring a hole or putting a team together it is important to get registration in early so we can plan according to get what we need to make this event a great success. Our Lodge will do its best to make sure you have a good time and boost your mood. Thank you and hope to see you at the course on July 20th 2026 and remember since it is America's 250th you can dress the part to make it even more enjoyable.

Another successful Polar Plunge complete for Special Olympics. Our lodge is proud to support this great cause. We would like to thank Avon Fire and Rescue for all that they did. Also thanks to Stearns County Sheriffs Office and Explorers, Sartell Police Department, St Joseph Police Department, Sauk Rapids Police Department, Paynesville Police Department and Scherping Tree Service for volunteering to help. This event would not happen without all the volunteers and plungers well done all.

Polar Plunge is coming up! Whether you are jumping or planning on helping at the event we Thank You for that. Our lodge is helping at the event again this year with that members if you are able, we are looking for people to help on set up day which is February 20th starting at 8 AM with enough people helping it shouldn't be more than a few hours. We are also looking for members to help the day of the Plunge again we need you there at 8 AM to help finishing setup and then helping during the Plunge. Hope to see you there!

If you are a current member of our lodge or just joined here is a welcome meesage from the lodge president.

Greetings and Welcome to the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Granite Lodge 17! If you are new to our lodge and the FOP, know that you are joining a historically strong National Organization that will advocate for you, assist in times of need, and provide a brother/sister hood not found in many organizations. If you are renewing, you already know the many benefits of belonging to our lodge locally but also the benefits that come Nationally. The attachments provided here better explain the FOP in general but also many of the benefits you can have access to or seek out as a member.

As President of Lodge 17, I encourage you to attend our meetings (1st Tuesday of each month), participate in the many activities and events we sponsor or are involved in, and to be an active member of our lodge. Besides helping each other there is the additional benefit of giving back to the community that comes from being a member of the FOP and our lodge.

Again, welcome or welcome back to Granite Lodge 17 and hope to see you at some future meetings.

This is more than just a statistic. It is a level of loss not seen in several decades. In fact, no one wearing a badge today was even alive the last time losses were this low.

Granite Lodge 17 Board members teamed up with Santa and delivered some gifts tonight. It was a fun time for all and we hope the families enjoyed their time with Santa.
