Today, Pam (Overflow Shelter Director) and Tracey (Program Coordinator) from Capital Area Council of Churches attended an event hosted by the Women's Business Council at Fairways of Halfmoon.

The guest speaker was Michelle Dray, a global leader at a Big 4 consulting firm, executive coach, mindfulness teacher, and author of the forthcoming book The Authentic Revolution (working title).

Michelle supports women in navigating the pressures of modern work and life without losing themselves along the way. Her work centers on helping individuals recognize where they feel "off," reconnect with who they are and what truly matters, and lead with greater authenticity and confidence.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with community leaders, gain new perspectives, and continue growing both personally and professionally. The insights shared during today's event were inspiring and serve as a reminder of the importance of leading with purpose, authenticity, and compassion in the work we do every day. ♥️

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the flag of the United States, a symbol of the freedoms and opportunities we are blessed to enjoy. As we reflect on our nation's history, let us also give thanks to God for His continued guidance, grace, and protection.

Our flag reminds us of the sacrifices made by generations who came before us, and it calls us to be good stewards of the freedoms we have been given. May we use those freedoms to serve others, pursue justice, extend compassion, and share God's love with our communities.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalm 33:12

On this Flag Day, let us pray for our nation, our leaders, our service members, and our neighbors. May God continue to bless America and guide us in faith, unity, and hope.

❤️🤍💙
