For Labor Day, we’re highlighting some of the unsung heroes in our community — the people doing important work every day without always getting the recognition they deserve.
Today, that’s Ms. Tiffany Smith of Balancing the Equation.
She’s a mother, educator, mentor, and longtime after-school program leader who has spent years serving children and families. And this one is personal for me too — before The X had facilities, before people knew who I was, Ms. Tiffany supported what I was trying to build.
This Labor Day, we want to give flowers to the people who help hold our community together.
Ms. Tiffany, thank you for what you’ve done for so many families and for believing in others along the way. You’re one of our unsung heroes. 💪🏿
