August is Children's Eye Health and Safety Month! 👀

Did you know only 58% of children ages 3–5 received a vision screening in 2023, according to the latest federal Healthy People data. Uncorrected vision problems can affect learning, development, and quality of life, but early screenings and regular eye care make all the difference.

This month, NABA is reminding families across the greater Capital Region to prioritize eye health for the kids in their lives. Book that eye exam, watch for warning signs, and let's keep our children seeing their brightest futures. 💙
