About This Event:
Come experience Korea's rich culinary traditions! Hosted by International Youth Fellowship, Albany, this hands-on cooking workshop invites food lovers of all skill levels to learn the art of preparing Japchae—delicious, savory, and sweet traditional Korean glass noodles tossed with fresh vegetables and sesame. Whether you are looking to expand your culinary skills, learn about Korean culture, or simply enjoy a fun afternoon out with neighbors and friends, this class is for you!

What's Included:
Step-by-step guidance on traditional cooking techniques, knife skills, and flavor pairing.
All fresh ingredients and cooking equipment needed for the class.
A chance to cook it, taste it, and take the recipe home to recreate for your family!

Come Cook, Learn, and Share a Meal Together!

There is something special about preparing food together and then sitting down to enjoy it with people you may have never met before. This September, we invite you to join us for a warm and welcoming **Korean Cooking Class featuring Bibimbap**, one of Korea’s most loved traditional dishes.

For months, our Korean cooking classes have been bringing people from the Albany area together around food, conversation, culture, and the simple joy of cooking. We have seen people come as strangers and leave with new friends, new cooking skills, and a wonderful memory to take home. This class is about more than simply learning how to make a good meal.

You will learn how to prepare Bibimbap, work with fresh ingredients, build your cooking and kitchen skills, and discover more about Korean culture and the story behind the food. Imagine sitting around the table with people you just met, sharing a bowl of traditional Korean food and enjoying good conversation. It is more than a bowl of Bibimbap; it becomes a bowl of joy, friendship, and connection.
