Celebrating Teachers and Honoring Special Women! đź’•đź“š
The Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Eta Omega Chapter, Incorporated, proudly celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 by recognizing the dedicated educators who inspire, guide and empower students every day.
To express their gratitude, the EYLers and their advisors presented gift cards to each of the schools attended by our EYL participants as a heartfelt “thank you” for the invaluable impact teachers make both inside and outside of the classroom. Teachers help shape futures, build confidence and nurture the potential of tomorrow’s leaders—and we are grateful for their unwavering commitment.
In addition, the EYLers honored the mothers and significant women in their lives, recognizing the love, encouragement and support these remarkable women provide each day. As a token of appreciation, they were also remembered with gift cards.
Through these meaningful acts of kindness, our Emerging Young Leaders continue to exemplify the values of gratitude, service, and appreciation for those who help guide and uplift them along their journey.
