The federated women of M.C. Lawton Civic and Cultural Club, Inc. proudly stood front and center in Albany’s historic Black History photograph — representing legacy, service, and the enduring power of sisterhood in action.

As an Albany Affiliate of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc., we continue the mission set before us:

Good Morning Albany. The snow is continuing to fall this morning during Monday’s commute. Strong wind gusts could affect visibility.

If you must travel, please take safety driving precautions. Slow down and increase following distance.

The County has made additional lots available for residents to park during the snowstorm:

▪️Alliance Parking Lot - Former McDonald’s at the corner of S. Pearl and Madison
▪️Authority Parking Lot behind Centennial Hall (930 Madison Ave, access via Partridge) on the St. Rose Campus
▪️Parking behind the Lalli Building (1009 Madison Ave, access via Western Ave) on the St. Rose Campus

If you choose to park in these lots, expect your car to stay put until after the conclusion of snowfall. DGS will be plowing the lots after the storm.
