Prism Counseling & Advocacy Prism Counseling & Advocacy, Inc (PCA) provides quality care for LGBTQQIP2SA+ folx and their families

RAI provides accessible, and affirming care, through counseling and case management, to LGBTQIA+ people living with mental health struggles, substance use difficulties, disordered eating issues, folx with disabilities, and families. RAI vows to be dedicated to being LGBTQQIP2SA+ and BIPOC allies, trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming, fat liberation focused and anti-body oppression/terrorism, sex & kink-affirming, anti-ableist, decolonizing, and anti-capitalist. At RAI, there will always be a focus on social justice and providing therapy that is empowering and de-stigmatizing for all clients.

Prism is closed for Indigenous People's Day.

We want to take the time to honor the history, resilience, and rich cultures of Indigenous communities. We honor the genocide, violence, and ongoing oppression suffered by Indigenous communities to this day and know that there is no future without them.

We hope each and every one of us who are off today will continue to learn, respect, and uplift their voices. We encourage those who can to donate to causes that help repair the harms done to Indigenous peoples and work to provide reparations and care.

Join Prism on November 6th at 5:00p at the 📍 First Presbyterian Church for Mead Us in the Middle (Ages).

This event brings together Bleecker Consort & artist Lora Lee Ecobelli for a concert of medieval and renaissance music 🎶 and a reception of mead (non-alcoholic available), & community!

The event will focus attention to Prism’s nearly quarter century of providing harm reduction and therapy services to the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities in New York State 🌈. Information will also be available about First Presbyterian Church’s (nearly complete) capital campaign for renovations and improvements to their historic and inclusive church and institution.

So mark it in your calendars 📆 and come celebrate our diverse communities, public service, and harm reduction with music and laughter! 🩷

These trainings are free for all to join and learn from. Participants can donate to our organization if/what they can when registering. Both in-person and virtual options are available to attend trainings!
