Summer is in full swing at WDMF! ☀️📚🏀

This season, we're proud to fund youth summer camps across the Capital Region — giving kids a safe space to learn, grow, and just be kids.

🏀 Free basketball camp with Coach Jamil Hood
🏀 SUNY Youth Summer Basketball Camp with Coach Dwayne Killings at the Broadview Center
🎨 Sponsored 4 weeks at Metro's Youth Summer Camp, to teach young girls how to braid their own hair.
🎓 Ready, Set, Apply! The 2026 Application Boot Camp — helping rising seniors get college-ready, led by Dr. Lisa Carr

We sponsor these camps because kids deserve a safe place to land this summer, and parents deserve the relief that comes with it.

⛳️ And of course — the Warren Mackey Golf Classic brought the community together on the green, turning a day of golf into real support for these very programs.

This is what Warren's legacy looks like in action. 💛

🏀🎉 Another slam dunk in the books! Our Dwayne Killings Summer Basketball Camp closed out strong with an awards ceremony that even the Mayor showed up for — because these 60 amazing kids (all proud City of Albany residents, supported by our city grant program) earned every bit of that spotlight! 🏆

That's a 25% jump in campers from last year — and we owe that growth to YOU, our incredible donors. 💙💛

Huge shoutout to Dan and Dwayne Killings for four years of unstoppable partnership. Every year gets better than the last, and we can't wait to see what's next! 🙌🏾

Knowing the work that goes into planning a day like this I'm just so happy for Pop Campbell that the sun was shining and community was OUTSIDE LOVING the competitive spirit of 🏀 basketball he's facilitated in honor of his dad - a community leader of impact being carried forward in .

Happy we could support in a small way as we see his tournament grow in success every year.

PS. Worth a stop by all day tomorrow to have Queen's chicken empanadas and lemonade from "I got the HHH Juice" - food vendors were perfect!

What a day! From sunrise tee times to laughter on the green, this year's Classic brought our community together in the best way. Every swing, every smile, and every conversation on the course was in honor of Warren Mackey's incredible legacy. 🏆

🏀 Full Court Peace Basketball Tournament 🏀

The Warren & Denyse Mackey Foundation is proud to sponsor Jamil Hood's House of Hoops for this weekend of ball, unity, and youth empowerment!

📍 Lincoln Park Basketball Courts, Albany, NY

Divisions for 5/6th grade girls & boys, middle school boys, and high school girls & boys — 2+ games guaranteed, trophies, team uniforms, vendors, and music on site!

🎉 We made the news! 📺💙

This year's Warren Mackey Golf Classic was more than a tournament — it was a celebration of legacy, love, and lives saved. The fifth annual event raised funds for free summer camp, youth programs, college scholarships, and preventative cancer screenings, all in honor of the man who started it all.

Because of the screenings and initiatives this Foundation has driven, 17 lives have been saved and that number keeps growing because of YOU. 🙏🏽

Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who showed up and made this year's Classic one to remember. Warren's legacy of service, mentorship, and community keeps living on through all of us. 💚
