Taking Time for Teens - T3 Evidence Based Programs provided include: Too Good For Drugs, Love Notes, My Plan A, and Sport Prevention Plus Wellness.

A collaboration between Morehouse School of Medicine Health Promotion Research Center and Phoebe Network of Trust to offer Evidence-Based Programming for the prevention of teen pregnancy and related risk factors in Southwest Georgia. Taking Time for Teens (T3) provides evidence based programming for teen pregnancy prevention and prevention of related risk factors to teens ages 15 to 19 in the Sout

hwest Georgia Region. Additionally, T3 sponsors Youth Leadership Councils for youth ages 15 to 19 and 40 Developmental Assets training for parents of youth who attend programming. The goal of the project is to prevent teen pregnancy and related risk factors, as well as helping teens to achieve optimal health. This project is funded by a grant from the Office of Population Affairs. The Terrell High School Youth Leadership Council, in conjunction with Terrell County Chamber of Commerce, volunteered at the 1st annual Fall Festival held in Dawson, GA on Saturday, September 30, 2023. YLC students assisted vendors, sponsors, community leaders, and families enjoy the food and fun at the festival. Students volunteered to set up and manage games, do face painting and overall assisted wherever needed to make the festival a success.

Join us on Monday, October 16th at 6 PM for a self-care retreat designed to help you reduce anxiety and stress. There is no cost to participate and we will provide workshop supplies, including a yoga mat. A meal will be served following the event.
