NOW HIRING: PART-TIME CDL DRIVER – ALBANY, GA

Feeding the Valley Food Bank is looking for a part-time CDL driver, preferably Class A, to join our team at our Albany, Georgia warehouse.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday, half-days
Two Saturdays per month - Mobile Pantry Deliveries, approximately 3 hours each day

Pay
$18–$20/hour, based on experience and CDL class.
Serious inquiries only.

Feeding the Valley is proud to congratulate our Chief Administrative Officer, Jay Cannon, on being selected to serve as Nutrition Policy Advisor on Incoming State Senator Edward Brown’s senior staff and policy advisory team.

Jay’s knowledge of hunger, nutrition, and the needs of our communities will be an asset as he helps shape policies that can make a meaningful difference for Georgians.

We’re excited to see Jay bring his passion for serving others to this important new role. Congratulations, Jay—we couldn’t be prouder!

Something fresh is growing at Fifth Avenue, and we want the community to be part of it.

Join **Flint River Fresh** for the **Fifth Avenue Community Garden Refresh Day!**

📅 **Saturday, September 19**
⏰ **9:00–11:00 AM**
📍 **Fifth Avenue Community Garden**

We’ll roll up our sleeves together to:

🌱 Clean and prepare raised beds
🌱 Add fresh soil + amendments
🌱 Plant seasonal vegetables
🤝 Introduce our **Adopt-a-Bed** opportunity

This is about more than refreshing a few garden beds. We’re working toward a Fifth Avenue garden that is **grown, cared for, and enjoyed by the community.**
