Soon our kitchen will be rocking with turkeys, it’s Big Gobble time! 🦃🦃🦃
This year, we hope to share 6,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals with seniors, homebound neighbors, veterans and people experiencing homelessness across our 18 counties.

We’ll prepare and freeze meals for Thanksgiving week, then volunteers will deliver warm meals Thanksgiving morning to neighbors who can’t heat their own.

It’s more than good food, it’s a warm reminder that someone cares. ❤️

As September winds down, we’re reflecting on a wonderful Hunger Action Month and the many people who showed up for our neighbors.

To every volunteer group that spent time with us this month: thank you. You brought energy, kindness and a shared belief that everyone should have access to food. Our donors, partner agencies, volunteers and team members carry that belief forward every day. Hunger is a solvable problem, and it takes all of us.

We’re especially grateful to our friends at Publix for a gift that will help us purchase needed equipment for our warehouse and commercial kitchen, along with a disaster relief truck. Thank you, too, to Food Lion for another Great Food Pantry Makeover and for investing in our partner agency, Positive Youth Direction Youth Center in Dawson, Georgia.

Our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you for making this month so meaningful and for helping us keep moving forward together. 🧡
