Tri-City ValleyCats Military & Veteran Appreciation Night
The Tri-City ValleyCats, Hudson Valley Credit Union, Alex Dell Law Firm, Gleason Dunn Walsh & O'Shea, and Harding & Mazzotti are providing complimentary tickets for active duty military, veterans, and their immediate families to attend a special game at The Joe on July 8. Please register below and the ValleyCats Box Office follow up to confirm your tickets.

Veterans and military personnel can receive free tickets by filling out the form below or by visiting the ValleyCats box office at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. A ValleyCats representative will follow up to requests and tickets MUST be picked up in person with a military ID to confirm eligibility.

Throwback Thursday: Honoring a Veteran’s Journey (SHARE YOUR PHOTO IN OUR COMMENTS)

Today’s is dedicated to the quiet strength, courage, and sacrifice of our veterans.

Picture this: a young recruit stepping onto the training field for the first time boots laced tight, heart pounding with both fear and pride. Over the years, that same person faced long deployments, missed holidays, and moments of uncertainty, yet also built unbreakable bonds with fellow service members and carried a deep sense of purpose.

Now, years later, the uniform may be neatly folded in a keepsake box, but the values honor, resilience, and service remain stitched into their very being.

Here’s to remembering not just the battles fought, but the friendships forged, the lessons learned, and the unwavering commitment to protecting others.

We are delighted to share that we are now official partners of Onward Ops a national program dedicated to supporting service members as they transition from military life into civilian communities.

This partnership represents a powerful step forward in our mission to strengthen support systems for Veterans, service members, and their families. Through Onward Ops, transitioning service members are paired with trained volunteer sponsors who provide local connection, guidance, and encouragement during one of the most challenging and transformative periods of their lives.

By joining forces, we are expanding our ability to:
• Offer personalized, community‑based support to those leaving active duty
• Connect service members with local resources, benefits, and opportunities
• Ensure families have the tools and encouragement they need during transition
• Build stronger, more informed, and more compassionate military‑connected communities

This collaboration allows us to stand beside our service members long before they arrive home — helping them navigate employment, education, housing, mental health resources, and community integration with confidence and support.

We are incredibly proud of this partnership and the impact it will have on the lives of those who have served. More exciting updates, volunteer opportunities, and community events are on the way as we continue this important work together.

Our partners at Jamestown Community College are hosting The Next Mission: Military & Veterans Career Fair on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at JCC.

This event is designed to connect veterans and military-connected individuals with military-friendly employers, local organizations, and career resources. Whether you're actively job searching, exploring a career change, or just looking to network, this is a great opportunity to learn what's available in our region.
