Dear Community Veteran,

The Albany County Veterans Service Bureau invites you to join us for our upcoming "Ironsights & Fairways" Veteran Golf Tournament!
Spend a day on the green, enjoy some friendly competition, and connect with fellow Veterans in our community. Registration is now officially open.

Please Note: Priority preference for this event is given to Albany County Veterans.

One of our Dwyer Programs is collecting school supplies for children of New York Army National Guard families. Donations of notebooks, pencils, folders, crayons, calculators, and other school essentials are greatly appreciated.

The New York State Office of Mental Health-funded PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program serving Westchester County is currently out for RFP through the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health.

As part of our commitment to keeping the Dwyer network informed, we're sharing this opportunity with organizations and community partners who may be interested.

Veterans, Service Members and Military Families in Queens: stop by the Forest Hills Greenmarket on Sunday, August 30, and connect with New York State Department of Veterans' Services Coordinator for Women Who Served and U.S. Army Veteran Ozias “Rosiey” Batista.

Rosiey will be onsite from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to share information about benefits and services you may have earned and to distribute FreshConnect Checks while supplies are available.

FreshConnect Checks help eligible Veterans, Service Members and their immediate Family Members purchase fresh, healthy foods at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands across New York State.
