Who We Are: The Institute of Nonprofit Leadership and Community Development is a collaborative of the University at Albanyโs Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy; the Schools of Public Health, Social Welfare, Business, and Criminal Justice; the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cyber Security; Albany Law School, and Albany Medical College. ission: We are an interdisciplinary community that works to improve nonprofit impact through faculty research; organizational capacity-building; leadership development; and the equipping of a robust talent pipeline. Values: Everything we do is guided by our steadfast commitment to:

Develop, strengthen, and retain a robust talent and leadership pipeline for the nonprofit sector in the greater Capital Region;
Create affordable professional development opportunities for nonprofit leaders;
Community
Support community-based research on issues affecting the nonprofit sector and communities they serve;
Stimulate the exchange of ideas among researchers and nonprofit practitioners;
Equip the nonprofit workforce by expanding nonprofit management degrees, certificate programs, and courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are excited to partner with the nonprofit and business community to identify community strengths and challenges and build innovative, creative, and multi-disciplinary solutions that best serve the needs of the Greater Capital Region. Nonprofit University is a professional development subscription series for all levels in your organization.
