Southwest Georgia Creatives

Southwest Georgia Creatives Creatives Serving The Creative Collective We are sharing our lessons learned and manifesting our vision for the world’s future.

Southwest Georgia Creatives Network are a collective composed of multifaceted artists and entrepreneurs that are from or who have migrated to the SoWeGa region. This community garden waters, cultivates, and nourishes creative fruit of every genre, race, nationality, creed, religious background, and economic status. Here, we create with the intention to birth future generations of empowered leaders

that will reform our community one seed at a time. The love within the collective is real and we are truly grateful that we’re all supporting each other as we unlock our best selves, live out our dreams with open eyes, and co-create life together! Enjoy the snapshots of our experience!! Thanks to God and all of the wonderful co-creators before, during, and after us. "The South Still Got Something To Say" ~Andre 3000

This giving Tuesday, the Albany Area Arts Council is launching its annual sponsorship drive: Keep the Lights On for the Arts.

The AAAC’s Carnegie Library has been a creative home for generation, and those lights don’t stay on by accident. They stay on because this community believes in what happens inside these walls - artists finding their voice, audiences finding connection, and Albany finding its creative heartbeat.

If the arts here have ever inspired you, moved you, or made this city feel a little more like home, we’re asking you to stand with us.

✨ Become a sponsor. Keep the doors open. Keep the lights on. Keep the arts alive in Southwest Georgia.
