6 years ago today, I heard the words NED — no evidence of disease.

I didn’t believe it. Six months earlier, cancer had been found again on my first diagnostic mammogram post‑treatment, so hope felt fragile.

Twelve weeks later, I had a double mastectomy — and pathology confirmed it: no carcinoma.

So today, I celebrate. Tomorrow, I begin my annual scans.

Reaching this milestone deepens my commitment to driving change — for those who reach N.E.D. and for those whose cancers require ongoing treatment or may never offer that moment. Their courage demands that we accelerate research, access, and equity for every person in this fight.

Here’s to 6 years N.E.D. And hope — for many more.

What a glorious day!
