The Drinking Water Source Protection Program (DWSP2) is in the final two weeks of accepting applications! The deadline to apply for the DWSP2 is Tuesday, November 14th at 4:00 p.m. The program assists municipalities in developing and implementing plans to protect their drinking water. If interested, please read the full statement from the DEC included in this post. NYPF encourages any and all to apply!

Less than two weeks ago, Governor Kathy Hochul launched the Pro-Housing Communities Program (PHCP), a statewide initiative to give priority consideration for up to $650 million in state discretionary funds to localities committed to housing growth. The program invites municipalities (cities, towns, and villages) to apply for Pro-Housing Community certification, which awards them priority in the grant application process.
