Easter Egg Hunt Reminder!

Spring is here, and the fun is happening this Saturday.

Join us at Cole Park in Alamosa from 10 AM – 1 PM for Dylan Brown Agency’s 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring the kids and enjoy a morning full of eggs, laughter, and community fun.

Plus, thanks to WeeCycle, free diapers will be available for families at the event, distributed by ECC SLV.

Grandparents as Caregivers

Are you a grandparent raising your grandchild or know someone who is?

This free 6-week course, offered by CSU San Luis Valley Area Extension and SLV Behavioral Health, is designed to provide practical tools, support, and guidance to help caregivers navigate the unique challenges of raising a second generation.

Participants will gain helpful parenting strategies, learn ways to support their grandchildren’s health and success, and connect with others in similar situations. With dinner and childcare provided at no cost, this program removes barriers so you can focus on building confidence, strengthening family relationships, and finding the support you deserve.

✨ Early Head Start supports families with children birth–3 years old across the San Luis Valley.

Our program provides FREE services that support early learning, child development, and family stability during the most important years of life.

Families may qualify if they have a child ages 0–3 and:
• Receive SNAP or Medicaid
• Are experiencing housing instability
• Have a child in foster care

Other families may qualify as well.

Early Head Start services are available in Alamosa, San Luis, Blanca, and Center through trusted local providers.
