💙 This comes at a tough time for survivors and the people who serve them.

Stories about sexual violence have been in the local and national media spotlight, from Colorado’s La Plata County Jail to the halls of Congress. This has been a lot for many survivors to take in.

At the same time, organizations that provide services for survivors are facing an extremely challenging financial landscape.

The federal government has drastically reduced funding in the last several years, and their current funding delays are so extreme that many organizations that serve survivors are having to cut services, layoff staff, and even shutter their doors.

To survivors and advocates: this is a reminder to keep taking care of ourselves and each other as we live through this period of incredible strain.

To the broader community: this is a call to show up for survivors and service providers. There are many ways to help.

👉 Find your local r**e crisis center/sexual assault program, support their work, and attend their events this month. youhavetherightco.org/support-services

👉 Wear denim to show your support for survivors on April 29th for . coloradodenimday.org/support

👉 Join CCASA on April 29th at Champagne Tiger in Denver to lean into joy, honor our champions from the Capitol, media, and agencies, and celebrate the resilience of survivors and those who do this work. www.eventbrite.com/e/denim-day-party-for-the-colorado-coalition-against-sexual-assault-registration-1985595819547

We are incredibly grateful to our community partner, San Luis Valley Federal Bank, for their generous support of the Center for Restorative Programs. Their commitment to investing in local organizations helps strengthen the San Luis Valley and supports programs that build connection, accountability, and healing within our community.

Partnerships like this make a meaningful difference. Because of their generosity, we can continue creating opportunities for youth, families, and community members to come together, repair harm, and build stronger relationships. Thank you, San Luis Valley Federal Bank, for standing alongside us in this important work and for your continued dedication to the wellbeing of our community. 💙

San Luis Valley Federal Bank is proud to donate $3,500 to the Center for Restorative Programs in Alamosa.

Since 1995, CRP has been strengthening communities across all six counties of the San Luis Valley. Their restorative justice programs give young people a chance to take real ownership of their actions and repair harm in meaningful ways.

CRP also supports Valley families through wraparound services and works alongside local schools to 👉🏻 create supportive, inclusive environments where students can thrive.

Stronger communities start with believing people deserve second chances. We're honored to support that mission.
