Nothing beats watching our kids shine on stage.

This Friday, the kids of Children’s Music Theater of Alamogordo take the Flickinger Center stage for Frozen The Broadway Musical. Behind every song and every scene sit weeks of rehearsals, late nights, and a whole lot of heart. The people who helped move the sets to the theater say the pieces look amazing, and anyone lucky enough to catch a sneak peek of the props walked away smiling.

Since 2018, this group has given local kids a place to sing, act, dance, paint sets, and help backstage. For many of them, the stage is where they find their confidence, their voice, and friends for life. Watching kids from our own community light up under the spotlight never gets old.

The show runs October 16, 17, 18, 23, and 24. If you get the chance, go cheer for them. Your applause means more to these young performers than you know.
