The Adobe Brick Making Workshop is a GO! for this Saturday. 🪏🪏🪏 The workshop will be lead by Karen DeGuire from our leadership team. We’ll bring shovels and garden hoes and there should be plenty of hay and dirt for us to work with. Bulk up on your sun protection and don’t forget your water bottle and maybe a folding chair. It should be a great educational opportunity, learning how to build with the earth.

Updates at the Puerto Rico Farm

Another busy day at the Puerto Rico Farm! We had 23 visitors at the garden. 😱 Some helping, some learning, some exploring, and some dropping things by. We are all working hard to make this land a place for the community. There’s still a lot of work to do but I’m feeling very encouraged after today. 🥰

THE SNAP PEAS ARE READY TO HARVEST!

There are very very few strawberries (we ate the ripe ones today 😜) but as they ripen, feel free to harvest some of those too. 👍🏾

If you have a garden membership, peas go get some snap peas, the gate code is the same. They are coming on fast! We will probably have to do a clean sweep at the end of this week so go get some if you want some. What’s available at the end of the week we will sell in a curated Farm Fresh Box 📦. Those without a garden membership are welcome to purchase a farm box to support the community farm efforts. Stay tuned to the page to see when farm boxes are available.
