HUGE thank you to the Sacramento Mountain Foundation. We asked, they delivered! We are funded for our Cooling Station. We will be opening next week, because it is supposed to be over 90 degrees all week!

Hours will be Monday June 8th thru Friday June 12th, 9-5:30. 601 Delaware. We will provide a small breakfast and lunch. Everyone is welcome. The a/c will be on!!

Stay tuned for future open dates. If it is going to be over 90 degrees we will be open!

Public Service Announcement.

We will be opening our cooling center SOON! The temperatures are rising and people need to stay cool. The hours will vary according to the weather. The general rule will be if the temp is over 90 degrees, we will be open.

What can we provide?
A place to stay cool.
A place for some food, water and snacks.
A place to relax.

How can you help?
Individually wrapped snacks.
Bottled water.
Bread, chips, and jelly.

Stay tuned, we will announce the days on this platform as well as word of mouth. Tell your friends and family!

“The church has left the building!”

Help us celebrate what God has done!

Let us introduce you to Adriana. We met Adriana for the second time in 2018. Fresh out of the institution, fiery and with lots of attitude. She came into Runners Refuge because “people like her” are welcome there. Runners Refuge ministry has a vision of reaching the “throw away” or “once a convict, always a convict” “people like her”!

We at Runners Refuge believe there is only one type of people. HUMANS who all have worth!

Adriana has been with us for almost 8 years and has been such a blessing to the ministry and us individually. We have the honor of sharing her celebration of graduating from NMSU-A today May 15th 6pm at the Tays Center, with an Associates in Social Work! Adriana chose social work because she wants to give back to her community and “people like her!”

What an amazing turn around in her life and she gives all the glory to God!

Adriana we love you! In your words “blood couldn’t make us any closer!” SHO RIGHT!!

Starting in May 2026 we will be changing our schedule and service times.

New schedule:

Sunday: CLOSED for ALL services

Monday: impact center 9am-1pm
Dinner service/delivery 4pm-5:30pm
Bible study 6:30-7:30pm

Tuesday: Impact Center 9am-1pm
Dinner service 4pm-5:30pm NO DELIVERY

Wednesday: CLOSED for ALL services

Thursday: Impact Center 9am-1pm
Dinner/delivery service 4pm-5:30pm

Friday: Impact Center 9am-1pm
