FYI. It has been brought to my attention, by more than one, that we are not doing things according to everyone’s wants. Please do not show up next week because will not be offering any services.

In order to evaluate what we need to correct and to be better at fulfilling people’s wants, August 24th thru August 28th we will not be open at the Impact Center nor will we be serving any hot meals. At this time I do not have any recommendations where to go in the interim.

Our mission is to be a light in the community thru our Impact Center and hot meal program. Please be patient with us as we explore why we are failing at this and attempt to improve and revamp our system.

This should only take a week but may be longer if we find other faults that need corrected.

See you in September, God willing!

FYI post. I love that people want to give. I rarely say no to any donation. However, please I plead of you, the ONLY clothing we are taking is socks and underwear. Please do not ask me if we can take it. There are other organizations such as The Counseling Center that have an abundance of room as compared to us and do a great job of distributing clothing. They have kids, teens and adult clothing. Please give to them! Also the public schools have a clothing closet for students and families. Thank you for thinking of us but we simply cannot accommodate the amount of clothing!

Now, what do we need? Hygiene products, we have 2-7 people showering 4 days a week, Laundry detergent, socks, underwear, soft snacks, cup of noodles, water, plastic ware, cereal, and backpacks. 🎒

As always we do not do this without YOU 🫵!
