Good morning family and friends of Owen Chapel. Today's service will not be live-streamed due to a number of multimedia personnel being out with illness. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring.

Q: “Why do a backpack giveaway when the school district is already doing one?”

A: “Because it is part of our fabric of ministry in the community. It’s a team effort. You can’t just give a child a couple of notebooks, a few pencils/pens, and a couple of packs of notebook paper and expect them to survive a full year. They need as much of that as they can get their hands on….FOR FREE!!! And while we’re at it, let’s nourish them when they come pick up their backpack….FOR FREE!!!”
