NEWS RELEASE
August 30, 2024

On August 30, 2024, at approximately 1134 hours, the Alamogordo Police Department responded to a call at the Alamogordo High School regarding a student who was overheard stating he had a gun.

The investigation confirmed that the student did make such a statement; however, no fi****ms or contraband were found.

The student is being referred to Juvenile Probation for Bomb Scares and Shooting Threats Unlawful.
