The 2026 recipient of the Gary Gooch Excellence Award is Matthew Exline. Matthew has been a student at KG since 2019 and recently graduated from South Gibson County High School with plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is kind, loyal and has committed himself to pursuing vocal performance these past 7 years and transforming himself from “quite good” to a seasoned and professional singer. We are proud of Matthew and cannot wait to see all he accomplishes in college and beyond.
