DVNCL honored the 2025 senior class on
March 23rd at Senior Recogniton at the Westin St Francis in San Francisco. These girls completed over 3,000 philanthropy hours in the past six years.👏👏👏

Avery T., VP Philanthropy for the Class of 2029 reached out to the NCL Pasadena Chapter to find out how we could support those affected by the fires in LA. Class of 2029 along with support from the Class of 2026 collected toiletries to create 100 personal care kits for Hillsides. Hillsides is an incredible organization supporting families and children in need. Way to go, Avery!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

PHILANTHROPY SPOTLIGHT💡The Alamo Women’s Club (AWC) Jewelry Sale is an annual favorite! It was held last week and we had several NCL teams volunteer. Jewelry is sold to generate funds for AWC’s need based scholarship program for high school students, foster youth and returning single mothers at DVC.

The Diablo Valley Chapter of the National Charity League cordially invites all chapter members to attend the Class of 2025’s Senior Recognition Ceremony. This annual event is a time-honored tradition honoring the Ticktockers and is the culmination of the time spent with their mothers serving various charities. Senior Recognition is a rite of passage for the girls’ teen years with a look to their future after high school. All chapter members are encouraged to attend a Senior Recognition Ceremony before their senior year.

Sunday, March 23rd, Ceremony @ 5PM
The Westin St. Francis San Francisco

Attire: Semi Formal
RSVP for the 2025 Senior Recognition Ceremony on the NCL Calendar.

The reception and dinner is by invitation only for Senior families and their guests but the Recognition Ceremony is open to all NCL members.

As part of our national partnership with the American Heart Association (AHA), let’s wear red to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and save lives. To participate in Wear Red Day (Friday 2/7), share what ‘Going Red’ means to you on social media, like ‘Go Red For Women’ on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to get inspiration, photos, news, and healthy living tips. Take a selfie of you and your daughter wearing red and show NCL’s support of this special day by posting your photo to social media using the hashtags , , , and .

We need your books! Join us for this January Book Drive as part of the National Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr Day!

What: Our DVNCL Chapter will be organizing a Book Drive (In honor of this National Day of Service).

Ticktockers & Patronesses will receive 1 philanthropy hour (MAX) of service for every 5 books they donate. Per NCL guidelines, books should be Pre-K to 6th grade reading level. Books will be donated to local libraries/philanthropies (TBD).

Ticktockers & Patronesses can also make bookmarks and receive 1 philanthropy hour (MAX) of service for every 5 bookmarks they donate. Bookmarks will be donated to local libraries/philanthropies (TBD).

Where: Books and bookmarks should be dropped off at Stacey Blackman’s home (check your email or the NCL calendar for address details). A collection bin will be set up at by the front door. Please leave your books/bookmarks in a plastic/brown bag and include your Ticktockers/Patronesses names.

When: The Book Drive will be during the week of Monday, 1/6/25 - Saturday 1/11/25. There will NOT be any collection bins set up before Monday, 1/6/25. **Please text Stacey when you drop off books at 917-576-1403** Books can also be dropped off at the January Patroness Meeting on Thursday, 1/9/25.
