Hello Friends!
Many of you know that AGLF works hard to feed and support hungry kids right here in Alameda County. Right now, we could really use a few extra helping hands during the week!

We’re looking for volunteers to jump in and help with things like sorting produce, lifting boxes, driving deliveries to local schools, and sometimes sorting and delivering garments. It’s hands-on, meaningful work, and a great way to make a real impact in Alameda County. We're looking for some folks to start as soon as next week!

🗓 Volunteer shifts:
Wednesdays at 11:30 AM - sorting, lifting and driving.
Thursdays at 9:00 AM - lifting, driving, other misc tasks.

Some tasks involve lifting up to ~50lbs, so we’re especially looking for folks who are comfortable with a bit of physical activity. Of course, there are different ways to help, and we appreciate every bit of support!

If you’re looking for a way to help out your local community, All Good Living Foundation is a great way to get involved. By volunteering with AGLF you can be a part of ensuring hungry Alameda kids have food every day.

Help Us Inspire the Next Generation of Tennis Stars
Do you have any gently used tennis rackets collecting dust in your garage? Put them to great use! We’re seeking racket donations for our free youth tennis clinics to introduce kids of all ages to the joy of tennis.
🎾 What we’re looking for:
Gently used rackets that still have plenty of life left
Rackets with minor wear and tear are absolutely fine
Youth-sized rackets are especially needed to suit different age groups
Donating your old racket gives a child the chance to learn, grow, and fall in love with tennis. Together, we can make the sport more accessible to young athletes who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

🏀 Former WNBA player and children’s author Helen Darling teamed up with the All Good Living Foundation and NBA Legends to provide young readers an unforgettable experience. This special book-reading event was about storytelling and inspiring young minds to dream big and develop a love for reading. 📖
Helen read to first-grade classes at Ruby Bridges in Alameda and Madison Park Academy in Oakland, sharing her stories, love for literature, and a little of her basketball magic. We want to thank you, Helen, for your dedication!

🤜 🤛In collaboration with Trae The Truth, we will have representatives on the ground in LA to help distribute much-needed items to those affected by the LA fires.
AGLF is collecting the listed items before we head down south 🪥🧼🧴 👟👕👖. We are also collecting monetary donations to purchase more items for the relief efforts.
