Check out this local indie doc "Home Court" screening at a variety of Bay Area locations, including at the Alameda Theatre on Wednesday 11/13 @ 7PM. Don't miss this community event!

Filmed over three years, Home Court is a coming-of-age story that follows a Cambodian American basketball phenom's family dynamics, both tender and tragic, as she navigates being one of the top basketball recruits in the country.

To the Supporters of the Alameda International Film Festival:

We regret to announce that the Alameda International Film Festival will not take place in 2025 as the festival producers and the Alameda Theatre were unable to reach an agreement on an equitable rental rate. AIFF's producers feel strongly that since bringing the festival to the Theatre in 2022, it represents the only appropriate venue in our City. As such, we will need to suspend AIFF at this time.

We would like to express our gratitude to all of our supporters. Many of you have been attending for more than a decade, have volunteered your homes for visiting filmmakers, have provided invaluable resources, staffing, business partnerships, sponsorship, and more. We could not be more grateful for the community engagement and investment in AIFF. Above all, thank you to all the wonderful filmmakers who have participated in AIFF -- without you there would be no festival.

Our non-profit, Anchor Alameda Assoc. for Art & Film, will continue to sponsor and produce local arts events, so please check out AnchorAlameda.org to see any upcoming events.

The Alameda International Film Festival returns to the historic Alameda Theatre & Cineplex in downtown Alameda February 22-25. Passes are available, or film tickets can be purchased à la carte. RSVP now for several workshops and panels that are completely free and open to the public.
