All Good Living Foundation is partnering with Encinal High School to develop a Jets Do Good Closet.

The Do Good Closet was developed to help Jet students in need and their families with food insecurities and other basic needs.

It is with a heavy heart that the EHS Alumni Association announces the passing of Encinal High School Junior, Isaac Yunhu Lee. Isaac passed away suddenly from acute myeloid leukemia on November 14, 2021.

Isaac was a young, passionate artist who spent hours bringing his anime sketches to life and sharing his favorites to Instagram (.exe). His goal was to spend much more time and energy on his art before his untimely passing.

In spite of this profound loss, Isaac’s parents Brian and Samantha Lee have decided to turn their grief into action. To that end, they have created the Isaac Yunhu Lee Memorial Fund. With this scholarship fund, the Lees hope to channel Isaac’s love and passion for art and direct it towards low-income students who are currently attending, or dream of attending art school.

The Lees have established an inaugural $12,000 scholarship through bold.org. More information on the scholarship can be accessed here: (https://bold.org/scholarships/isaac-yunhu-lee-memorial-arts-scholarship).

In addition, the Lees have made a contribution of $30,000 to seed the Memorial Fund, which has been set up in partnership with Philanthropic Ventures Foundation (www.venturesfoundation.org). Their goal is to award $10,000 a year to one student each year on May 9th, Isaac’s birthday. The Lees also hope to provide grants to organizations who support youth and art programs along the way.

In support of this endeavor, the Encinal Alumni Association has contributed $1,000 to the Isaac Yunhu Lee Memorial Fund. If you are able and willing, please join us by contributing. Donations can be made via check, stock, or credit card. Check donations should be made payable to Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, with “Isaac Yunhu Lee Memorial” in the check memo line.
