ISKCON Alachua We warmly welcome you to the ISKCON Alachua Hare Krishna Temple of North Central Florida / New Raman Reti. We are located in Alachua, just north of Gainesville.

Hare Krishna! ☺ Home of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha-Shyamasundara, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, and the largest community of Hare Krishna devotees in North America. New Raman Reti dham. Open 4:30 am through 9:00 pm, seven days a week, during arati / darshan times. See below schedule for worship ceremonies (aratis), lectures from scripture, and group meditation times. The temple is situated on 140 acres of land, including flower and vegetable gardens, cow pastures, and a religious elementary and middle school. Here's an interesting opportunity to enhance your Kartik experience this year.

A Kartik reading Vrata!

Come and join in person or online, as we read Srila Prabhupada's books together five days a week, four hours a day from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM EST, for the whole month of Kartik. (October 26th- November 24th) You can also participate in a way that custom fits your schedule. If the full Vrata is not possible for your busy life, not to worry -please feel free to participate whenever possible. Personal commitment of a fixed time is encouraged for optimal results; however, any and all participation is welcome.

This is inspired by Vaisesika Prabhu’s reading vrata that he’s conducted for over 20 years at the Bhaktivedanta Ashram at Govardhan.

Vaisesika usually announces the book that will be read a few weeks before Kartik, and we will follow his lead.

Kartik Month 2026

When devotional service to Krishna is performed during this month, the benefits increase a thousandfold. Thus, Kartika is a perfect time to render service to the Lord and His devotees.
