It is quiet. It’s freezing or humid, depending on the Florida season. And your flashlight battery is flickering. 🔦

Unless you’ve stood in a dark pasture at five in the morning, praying that a first-calf heifer has a smooth delivery, it’s hard to explain the weight of this lifestyle to people who work a standard desk job.

Your day-job coworkers don’t understand why you look exhausted on Monday morning. Your non-ag friends don’t get why you can’t just leave the farm for the weekend.

It’s easy to feel like you’re carrying the entire weight of your operation on your own shoulders.

But you don’t have to run this race on an island. 🏝️

There is a crew of young producers right here in Alachua County who know exactly what that 5 AM quiet feels like. We know the stress of market prices, the frustration of broken equipment, and the pure joy of a healthy calf hitting the ground.

Come trade stories with people who get your lifestyle! 🍻

Whether you are running cattle, raising row crops, growing vegetables, or supporting our local producers—your seat is saved. No stuffy agendas, no speeches—just cold beer, great people, and a community that has your back.

They said young people don’t want to work the land anymore. They said the next generation would rather chase screens than check fences. 🚜📱

But if you look closely at Alachua County, you’ll see a completely different story.

You’ll see a fierce, determined, and growing crew of young producers under 35 who are stepping up to carry the weight of Florida’s agricultural legacy.

Some of us are fifth-generation cattle ranchers honoring a family name. Some of us are first-generation builders leasing our very first pastures. And some of us are part-time growers balancing a 9-to-5 desk job just to fund our 5-to-9 ag dream.

We are different. We are diverse. But we share the exact same heartbeat. 🌾❤️

We believe that protecting our agricultural legacy doesn’t have to feel like a lonely, uphill struggle. And it certainly doesn't have to happen in a stuffy boardroom.

We are keeping this legacy alive our way:
➡️ Over tailgate conversations swapping independent mechanic recommendations.
➡️ Over casual farm tours sharing rotational grazing strategies.
➡️ And over cold drinks at our local brewery.

This isn’t just a social club. This is the future of our county's food, land, and community being built from the ground up. And we want you at the table. 🪑
