Last night we learned that not every voice using Scripture speaks truth. 🤍

In the wilderness, Satan tried to tempt Jesus by twisting God’s Word… but Jesus responded with the full truth of Scripture every single time. That’s why knowing God’s Word for ourselves matters. Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that His Word is living, powerful, and able to discern truth from lies.

The enemy distorts. God clarifies.
The enemy deceives. God’s Word anchors.

Who’s excited??!! ... Summer camp is getting CLOSE, and so many have signed up so far. Camp becomes this marker moment for so many students ... deep friendships form, confidence grows, distractions fade, and students have space to genuinely hear from God.

Whether it’s during worship, late-night conversations in cabins, altar moments, or even the crazy games … God has a way of meeting students there.

Spots are almost full, so if you’re planning to go, don’t wait too long to register.

🚨 ... Due to the severe weather expected this afternoon/evening, all on-campus activities at Kingwood are canceled tonight.
Our area is currently under a Level 3 out of 5 severe weather risk according to local weather officials, so we’re making this decision early to keep everyone safe. Please help us spread the word so nobody makes the trip up to the church tonight. THANK YOU! Stay safe today!
