Heavenly Father,
Tonight, we lift up our schools, our children, and every person who will walk through those school doors tomorrow.
Lord, cover our students. Protect them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Give them courage, confidence, wisdom, and peace. Let them know they are loved, valued, and never alone.
We pray for every teacher. Give them patience when they are tired, strength when the days are difficult, and wisdom to reach every child placed in their classroom. Give them grace and renewed energy each morning.
We pray for our principals, administrators, counselors, nurses, office staff, custodians, and everyone working behind the scenes. We pray for the lunchroom ladies who serve our children, the bus drivers who carry them safely, and every staff member who helps make our schools a place where children can learn and grow.
Lord, protect every school building, every bus, every classroom, every hallway, and every field. Place Your angels around our schools and give our communities peace.
We pray for the parents and guardians. Give them peace as they send their children back to school. Help them trust You with what they cannot control and give them wisdom to guide their children.
Father, let this school year be filled with learning, growth, kindness, friendships, breakthroughs, and blessings. Let our schools be places of safety, hope, encouragement, and opportunity.
Cover our children. Cover our teachers. Cover our schools. Cover every person connected to them.
And above all, Lord, go before them tomorrow. Make every crooked path straight and bring everyone home safely at the end of each day.
