We are the Theta Zeta chapter at the University of Akron. We are a newly established chapter here and Delta Zeta women are empowered to lead and serve.

Delta Zeta was found by six amazing women in 1902 at Miami University. Over the years our sorority has grown and spread over the United States. Our chapter (Theta Zeta) was established March 19, 2017 with 61 women. It starts with our governance and is a skill transferable to our personal and professional lives. Today we still hold this values and encourage our sisters and those closer ones to respect them. www.akrondeltazeta.com

Plans after graduation: traveling and moving into the professional world. Eventually get my masters in psychology!

Major: Double major in Psychology and Speech Language Pathology & Audiology
Plans after graduation: After graduation I will be attending graduate school through the Northeast Ohio Au.D Consortium to become an Audiologist!
Favorite DZ memory: My favorite DZ memory was when I got lavaliered by my Big, Sarah, and Little, Skye! This was such a special moment for our family, and a year after I lavaliered Sarah at the same event!

Trinity, we are so sad to see you go but can’t wait to see what else you accomplish outside of UA. Thank you for all the love you poured into Delta Zeta. 💚🩷🐢

Grad plans: Law School
Favorite memory: My favorite memory is going through formal recruitment and meeting my big Frannie, I talked to her on the first day and I felt an instant connection with her. When we spoke during preference round, I knew I was going to run home to her. We have so much in common. I’m so incredibly blessed to have met her and to be graduating with her this semester.

Major: Mechanical Engineering
Plans after Graduation: I plan on moving into the professional world and eventually getting my PhD.
Favorite DZ memory: Doing formal recruitment after joining the previous spring. It was a crazy stressful time but it was also so fun to get to really get to know and build trust with our chapter of 10! It really made me feel connected to the chapter and built up so many of my friendships within Delta Zeta.

Miranda, although we are sad to see you go just know all your sisters of Delta Zeta love you dearly and wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors!! 💚🩷🐢
