Orchid Expedition on the Rio Negro, Brazil: A fascinating journey in the jungles of the Amazon. A journal of my orchid expedition on the Rio Negro on the Otter Houseboat chronicling my adventures. Starting in Manaus and travelling on the Rio Negro and into the small contributories spotting monkeys, sloths, parrots, macaws and of course orchids. A trip organized by the Orchid Conservation Alliance.
