This month is and our team got to visit Summa Health to share information about the Akron Marathon Race Series and how to start a training program, how exercise can impact your health, and learn about our free race entry scholarship program.

During the session, Officer Lawrence of Summa Health Protective Services stopped by and shared how exercise benefits his life and the impact he has on our community at Summa Health’s Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion.

Join Akron Marathon and SummaCare for this one-of-a-kind training experience. Meet Summa Health providers, learn tips on training and recovery while you run or walk the Blue Line at your own pace.

All experience levels are welcome and each session offers a chance to learn something new while connecting with others in the community.
